Over the past few days, my scorching start to the month has cooled off a bit. Sunday I broke even over a decent amount of hands and yesterday I lost about $2k.
I played mostly $5/10 NL yesterday and didn't really get paid off at all and wasn't able to stack a single opponent. I did, however, manage to lose a huge flip for 170bbs here. That was really the only hand of interest in the session and it accounted for the majority of my loss.
I'll look to play well today and try and turn a tidy profit.

Play for the long term right? Posting daily results isn't very meaningful is it? Just keeps you thinking about them right? Or is this your release?

ReplyDeleteHowever, I found that my play suffered last month because I was always curious how I had done the previous day, etc. So I figured out that checking results WHILE playing is the only thing I must avoid, at least for me. That was definitely adversely affecting my play.
Checking after the day is over doesn't seem to have any negative affects on my play in subsequent days. I'm going to check and look how I did for the day pretty much because I want to and it makes it more fun for me.
Also, my blog would be pretty boring if I never said how I did!
