25% off poker lessons!

I have decided to re-open my coaching services.

Now is the perfect time to improve your game at a huge discount, as I'm offering poker lessons for 25% off!!! Improve your game significantly so when online poker sorts itself out you can annihilate your opponents!

I have decided that I will offer my services at 25% off of what my hourly coaching rate was when I last coached in 2010, which was $250 per hour. It will now be $187.50 per hour. I think this is a great value and you have the added bonus of knowing that I'm a considerably improved poker player since the last time I was coaching students.

My coaching lessons are two hours in length and I feel like a minimum of 5 lessons (10 hours) is ideal for being able to fully convey my knowledge to you and have a significant impact on improving your game. If you choose to purchase a 5 lesson package, I will give you even a further discount of 20% off of the already reduced hourly fee of $187.50 on the entire lesson package. That's only $150 per hour for quality poker lessons! That's a total of 40% off my normal coaching rate!!!

My specialties are NLHE 6 Max cash games and mass tabling. I can help boost your # of tables played by at least a table or two by helping you understand how to use a few secret things that I've discovered in my VPP quest this year... I have slightly over 930k VPPs so far in 2011.

If you would like to contact me about getting lessons feel free to private message me on Cardrunners.com or email me at "Duckslayer2k@gmail.com" and I'd be glad to respond.

Joke

I've never gotten coolered so much, in such a short amount of time as I just did during the past few hours.

After the mid-way point of my session the coolers would not stop coming and I was on the wrong end of nearly every single all in and there wasn't anything I could do about it. Nearly every hand I got coolered in was an auto-stackoff for me based upon my hand strength, the action in the hand, and vs the villain I was up against. I actually started to get really, really frustrated because one reg in particular seemed to be doing the majority of the coolering. He must have felted me like 6 or 7 times. He ran like GOD. I really couldn't leave my tables though cause I had a few of the worst players I'd ever seen before to my right, 200bb's deep on both $10/20 NL and $5/10 NL tables.

It's a miracle that I didn't lose more than a couple of buyins overall... but I know I was up BIG about halfway through the session... then this hand happened vs a MASSIVE fish and it went all downhill from there.

This one was also vs a HUGE fish.

There are many more of course, but I'm not going to post them for a few different reasons. First off, I think I played many of them perfectly and I don't want to give away the lines and bet sizing that I took. Secondly, if I posted the rest of the hands I'd probably vomit all over my new laptop after looking at them again.

The first day of the shoot went OK. I shot a 90/100 in the sporting clays event and a 53/75 in the FITASC. It was really windy out and actually quite cold. I'm hoping the weather will be nicer for Sunday.

  2. yes. obviously. just because I posted ridiculous cooler hands that are so sick I found them humorous doesn't mean I'm going to stop 3-betting KK pre-flop or anything stupid like that.

I'm not trying to prove a point or anything with posts like this one. I'm just reporting the facts of what happened during my day. Nothing more, nothing less.

  3. Duck,

Don't take the comments that people write too personally. Use your blog to vent if you need to, that is perfectly fine, especially if it keeps you from steaming at the tables or whining to fellow players over IM and whatnot.
